IT’S IN YOUR HANDS

It is so unfortunate that many people sit down looking for whom to blame for being where they are. While some blame the reason for their failure to their parents’ in ability to pay their school fees, others blame their failures for lack of sponsorship maybe as a result of the death of their parents at an early age. On the other hand, others still put the blame of their failure to the fact that witches are pursuing them from the village or their wicked uncle’s refusal to help them even though they are in position to do so. Still, others blame the government’s inability to provide adequate social amenities to help them. Sadly enough, some blame their failure on God. They get offended in Him and blame Him for all their failures.
Sweet heart, I have come to tell you that you’ve been wrong all this while. The reason you’ve been blaming people, circumstances and situations is because you do not know who you are and what scriptures said about you. Taking a look at scriptures, after Jacob supplanted Esau and took away his blessing, Isaac told Esau in Genesis 27: 40 “And by thy sword shalt thou live, and shalt serve thy brother; and it shall come to pass when thou shalt have the dominion, that thou shalt break his yoke from off thy neck.” In other words, Esau was to serve Jacob until he decides not to serve him again. In 2 Samuel 8:14, after David conquered Edom, he put garrisons throughout all Edom, and all they of Edom became David's servants. They kept serving him throughout his reign and throughout the reign of Solomon. They never knew that their breakthrough was in their hands. It was for them to decide. Only if they knew what had be written about them a long time ago.
Beloved, only if you knew what has been written about you; you’re a royal priesthood, an heir to the kingdom; He took your poverty so that you might be rich. You’re to be the head and not the tail. Only if you knew that life and death have been placed before you for you to through wisdom, make a choice. Only if you knew, you’ll never be where you are. The children of Israel never knew they were to spend 400 years according to prophecy in Egypt. They never knew what had been written about them and as a result, they spend 430 years until their groaning got to heaven before deliverance came through Moses. Only if they had known. On the other hand, Daniel knew what was written. He knew they were to spend only 70 years in exile. He prayed and on the 70th year, deliverance came.
The bible tells us that after the division of the kingdom of Israel into two, Edom decided not to pay tribute to Israel and it remained like that forever. Only if they had known, they would have surmounted their fears and overcome their task masters.
In the same way, I tell you today, stop complaining, get to work. You have what it takes to succeed. I can succeed because that is what God’s word tells me. Let’s meet at the top.
