Nigeria President Muhammadu Buhari met with British Prime Minister, Theresa May on Monday in London.
During the meeting, Buhari held a discussion on Nigeria – British relations with May, at the 10 Downing Street.
According to Presidential spokesman, Garba Shehu, Buhari told May he is bothered more on security and the economy of Nigeria, rather than the forthcoming general elections.
"We campaigned on three major issues, to secure the country, revive the economy and fight corruption.
“We have elections next year, politicians are already preoccupied with the polls, but I'm bothered more about security & the economy." He told the British Prime Minister.
